Its the topic on everyone's lips this off-season, where will LeBron James end up now that he's a free agent once again?Of course the obvious destination for the world's best player is to remain with the Miami Heat - the franchise he won his two NBA Championships with.
I mean his family live in a mansion in Miami, other than that they own a place in Akron, Ohio - their home town but it wouldn't make sense to move would it?
Well from a familial point-of-view it would make no sense to up root and move away from Miami, but about from a basketball point-of-view? or better yet, a championship point-of-view?
Well LeBron has already expressed that he wants a maximum salary deal with any team who claims his services.
Now the Miami Heat could offer him that contract but with a very bare roster right now, the Heat will struggle to fill their team should they give LeBron the maximum salary.
Away from Miami, six other teams could offer him the maximum salary, the Dallas Mavericks, Utah Jazz, LA Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers and Orlando Magic could all extend an offer including the maximum salary.
The other team who could offer him the maximum salary? My personal choice for where he should move next, the Phoenix Suns.
Before we look any deeper, lets consider the fact that the Suns experienced a magnificent turn around last season.
From finishing dead last in the Western Conference in 2012-13 they turned it all around last year and won a total of 48 games.
With the dynamic duo of Eric Bledsoe and Goran Dragic leading the team and Miles Plumtree in at center, they have a great team.
They have the steady foundation for a team already and if you add James into that mix it would be serious contenders for a championship.
Even more, the Suns have some real quality further down the line with several players still on rookie contracts including Tyler Ennis, T.J Warren, Archie Goodwin, Alex Len and Plumtree himself, their future is looking very bright.
Away from their current team, the Suns have the room in their salary cap to not only offer LeBron the max salary that he so craves, but another feature he may not find anywhere else.
They could quite easily, offer him the chance of picking another free agent to become his new team-mate.
What he asked them to bring Chris Bosh to Arizona?
Imagine that for a starting team, Bledsoe, Dragic, Plumtree, James and Bosh?
Two of Miami's big three move to Phoenix and the tide of the entire NBA moves with it as Miami is no longer the powerhouse it has been for the past four years.
I would love to see that set of circumstances come to fruition or failing the Bosh move, just James moving to the Suns.
They are admittedly the dark horses to sign the NBA's best player however but if they make the right pitch, who's to say LeBron won;t move to the desert?
